OUR MISSION
It all began in a serene East Coast town, where my childhood shaped my deep affection for hunting hounds. This love for training and raising dogs stayed with me when I moved to Southern California, where my own family took root. Yet, our joy was shadowed by my daughters' allergies to conventional dog dander. Driven to find a solution, I embarked on months of research, seeking a breed that combined hunting skills with hypoallergenic traits. That's when the Standard Poodle captivated me. Dedicated to preserving this remarkable breed, I immersed myself in its history and sought ways to make a positive impact. In our quest to foster the future of dog sports, we launched a program inviting young handlers to showcase our breeding stock in various events. Understanding the vital role of the next generation, our goal is to spark enthusiasm for dog-related activities. We're committed to the holistic development of our puppies. We provide foundational training to ensure they pass their puppy star and prepare for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. As a UKC and AKC evaluator and judge, I'm honored to be acknowledged by the Bred by Heart program, contributing to improved breeding standards. Our puppies' journey starts with a blend of Puppy Culture and AVID dog methodologies, introducing training from their earliest days. Early socialization and desensitization, including grooming routines at three weeks old, are our priorities. Crate training is fundamental, and we kick off potty training by gradually transitioning from a litter box to a doggy door. We focus on well-rounded development, incorporating free stacking, scent games, and weather-permitting water exposure. Early basic training sets them up to shine in puppy star classes and earn a Puppy Home Manners title. At six weeks, we conduct the Volhard temperament test, ensuring each puppy is matched appropriately based on temperament. My mission transcends breeding; it's about nurturing a legacy of excellence and fostering an enduring love for our furry companions throughout their lives.

We are dedicated to offering consistent support throughout the entire life journey of each puppy and their respective families. In order to create a strong sense of community, we've established an exclusive support group on Facebook specifically for our HD Poodle families. This platform serves as a familial space where you can freely seek advice, share your experiences, and connect with fellow puppy parents. Upon welcoming your new companion into your home, they will come equipped with up-to-date vaccinations, thorough deworming, and a microchip, along with pre-paid registration offering limited AKC privileges. To further ensure the well-being of your furry family member, we provide a comprehensive two-year health guarantee. Understanding the importance of a smooth transition, each puppy leaves with a carefully curated starter puppy pack. This includes essential items to aid in their seamless adjustment to their new environment. Additionally, your puppy package includes a complimentary evaluation for Puppy Home Manners and either the CGC (local) or Trick Dog title, offered at no additional cost. Our commitment doesn't stop there. We are dedicated to providing ongoing support throughout the lifetime of your furry friend. You can count on us for continuous breeder support, ensuring both you and your beloved canine companion thrive together for years to come.

Each meticulously selected canine partner undergoes thorough preparation for breeding duties. Right from their entry into the world, we adopt a comprehensive approach to raising our puppies. Drawing from the best practices of Puppy Culture and AVID dog methodologies, we commence training within days. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) form the foundation of our efforts, fostering resilience and sensory acuity from the outset. Grooming desensitization starts at three weeks and continues until the puppies are ready to join their new homes. Crate training, progressive potty training from a litter box to a doggy door, and free stacking are integral parts of their developmental journey. Engaging in scent games taps into their natural instincts, while introductions to water (weather permitting) prepare them for future swimming activities. As we guide them through basic training, our ultimate aim is to prepare them for success, evident in their ability to excel in puppy star classes and attain a Puppy Home Manners title. At the crucial six-week mark, the Volhard temperament test ensures each puppy is thoughtfully matched based on their individual temperament, laying the groundwork for a harmonious bond with their new families.
